The beginning of Lucky Harvey watches: the first automaton watch

In the first year after the brand was founded, Lucky Harvey independently developed and manufactured its first product. It was the Chinese Year of the Tiger at that time, and only 300 pieces were produced. All of them were sold out soon after they were launched in the Chinese market.

The design of this watch is inspired by the tiger, the king of the jungle. There is a tiger head pattern on the forehead, and the horizontal line in the middle is our brand logo, "Lucky Harvey". The subtle tiger pattern on the dial is a vivid imitation of the hair pattern of a real tiger, and then it is painted. The production process is very fine. The surface is made of sapphire glass, which is wear-resistant and scratch-resistant. The bezel is made into an irregular three-dimensional shape, while ensuring the perfect presentation of the polished brushed surface. The multiple angles of the lugs and other parts of the case are polished, and the overall layering is very good. The staggered decoration of the mirror and brushed polishing make the entire case shine under light from different angles.

The watch has a diameter of 43mm and a thickness of 14mm. The two eyes on the left and right sides of the dial are made into two small dials, corresponding to the hour hand and minute hand, respectively. The time is determined according to the rotation direction of the left eye and the right eye. We chose not to display the second hand during the design to present the effect of the automaton animation better.

Due to the special nature of the automaton device, to protect the movement device, you can only pull out the crown and rotate it counterclockwise to adjust the time. Whenever the right minute hand eyeball turns to the 60 position, the tiger's teeth will quickly spit out, and then slowly retract as time goes by. This happens every hour, which is very interesting. At night, you will find that the tiger's eyes and teeth are painted with strong luminous paint, which will emit green fluorescence.

The movement is the LH001 self-developed automatic mechanical movement, with a diameter of 27mm, a thickness of 5.6mm, 32 jewels, a swing frequency of 28,800 times/hour, and fish scale and Geneva stripe decorations, which are quite ornamental. The rotor is made in the shape of a tiger head, with a tiger wearing sunglasses printed on it. To make such a creative rotor, constant balance tests and corrections must be done, and the effect of the tiger rotor shape on the accuracy of the watch must also be tested. All of these are very costly.

The waterproof depth of 50 meters is enough for daily life. The leather strap is made of orange-yellow crocodile leather, which is very similar to tiger skin. One side is a quick-release design and the other side is a quick buckle, which is very convenient to put on and take off.
